Neal
D. Shore, MD, FACS
Dr. Neal Shore continues to dedicate himself to
excellence in the field of urology. Dr. Shore strives
to provide superior service to each and every patient.
From involvement in several medical associations to
contribution of integral research in the medical community,
Dr. Shore proves to be an icon in the medical industry.
Neal
Shore, MD is board certified in Urology and a Fellow
in the American College of Surgeons. He has performed
over 100 cases and taught over 400 cases to other
doctors across the country. Dr. Shore is dedicated
to working with engineers to improve new technology.
Dr.
Shore completed his Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated
magna cum laude from Duke University in 1980. He also
received his medical degree from Duke University in
1984. He completed a six year residency in general
surgery and urology at New York Hospital - Cornell
Medical Center, including a clinical fellowship at
Memorial - Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a research
fellowship at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Dr.
Shore has obtained membership to the following associations:
American College of Surgeons, American Urologic Association,
American Medical Association, Florida Urologic Society
and the South Carolina Medical Society.
Dr.
Shore currently sits on boards for Carolina Urologic
Research Center, Linked Urology Research Network,
Uropath, LLC, and US Too, a prostate cancer support
foundation. Additionally, Dr. Shore contributes to
the following medical advisory boards: Celsion, DepoMed
Inc., ProUrocare, Dendreon, ACMI - CoreTherm and QLT.
Dr.
Shore has several publications in the Journal of Urology.

Thomas J. Polascik, MD,
FACS
Dr. Thomas J. Polascik provides superior service through
his extensive experience and education throughout
the years. By working at premier facilities and with
expert staff, Dr. Polascik offers high-quality healthcare
to his patients. Dr. Polascik's contributions to the
medical community have proved to be highly significant
in the advancement of prostate cancer treatment.
Thomas J. Polascik, MD is board certified in Urology
and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
He has performed over 100 cases and taught over 400
cases to other doctors across the country.
Dr. Polascik completed his Bachelor of Science in
Biology with highest honors at Georgetown University
in 1987. His medical degree was attained from the
University of Chicago in 1991. Dr. Polascik has also
completed several other postgraduate educational programs,
such as a business of medicine executive program,
clinical trials, residencies and internships.
Dr. Polascik has gained memberships to several reputable
associations, including American Urological Association,
American Medical Association, Society of Urologic
Oncology, North Carolina Urological Association, North
Carolina Medical Society and many more.
Dr. Polascik has also participated in several advisory,
academic and societal committees, such as the Duke
Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Duke Prostate Cancer
Screening Program, Southeastern Section of the AUA,
North Carolina Medical Society and NCI-funded Fresh
Start Project on “Promoting Health in Prostate and
Breast Cancer Survivors.” He is also a member of the
Duke Prostate Center and the Leadership Council of
North Carolina Medical Society, as well as Vice President
of the North Carolina Urological Association.
Dr. Polascik has also published several articles in
peer-reviewed journals.
